I am aware that this does not accord with the marriage record in NS Historical Vital Statistics, which shows George Rupert Moser married to Etta J. Cameron in Moser River, on 25 July 1894. Etta Cameron is stated there to be daughter of Daniel & Maria. Etta's death record in 1934, as Etta Moser, states that her parents are Samuel McDonald and Maria Moser, and the informant is John Cameron of Moser River, brother-in-law. George Rupert Moser has a brother-in-law John Cameron, the husband of Carrie Jane Moser. I think this is close enough to account for his being declared as brother-in-law on Etta's death certificiate. The 1881 and 1891 census records for the family of Daniel and Mary Cameron do not show a daughter Etta, though there is an Ella Margaret. Ella Margaret Cameron, daughter of Daniel and Mary, married James Swinehammer in Halifax on 24 December 1894. In conclusion I believe an error was made with the marriage slip for the marriage of George Rupert Moser.

Dougal W Moser was born circa 1885 at Nova Scotia.1 He married Hattie M. (Fraser) Smith after 1917. Dougal W Moser died in June 1976 at Halifax County, Nova Scotia, Canada.2
Dougal's obituary states that his parents were Edward and Sarah. Nevertheless I believe he does belong in this family, because of the 1891 and 1901 census records. Unfortunately I have not located a record for his marriage to Hattie (Fraser) Smith. Hattie's husband Frank is reported to have died in the Halifax Explosion (Dec. 6, 1917) so the marriage between Dougal and Hattie is presumed to be after that date.
