Daniel MacDonald
Relationship=2nd great-uncle of John Greenwood Cordes.
Father Daniel/Donald McDonald (bef 1801 - bt 1871 - 1881)
Mother Elizabeth Haddy (1810 - 1896)
He was also known as Donald - he is listed that way in his baptismal record at Christ Church, Shelburne, NS. Is this really "my" Daniel? Parents given on marriage certificate as Donald (ok, I guess) and Mary - expected mother to be Elizabeth (Haddy).
Another problem is that his place of birth is given on the marriage certificate as Bay of Islands, whereas it should have been Shelburne County (though there is a small, illegible, note under the Bay of Islands birthplace entry).4
